Abhaya Murder mistry is solved at last. An innocent young nun had her
murder in the hands of those who were supposed to protect her!
So 28 years for a girl just 19 years when killed by a Church father and a
nun just to cover up their illicit sexual acts. Victims parents died fighting
tooth and nail for justice for their daughter. A good Samaritan finally
succeeded in pursuing the case to its logical conclusion.
It was among the longest and most high-profile real-life murder
mysteries in Kerala, with multiple twists and turns.
Twenty-eight years and nine months after a 19-year-old Catholic
nun's body was found inside a well at a convent, a CBI special court
found a priest and a nun guilty of the murder. And among the key
witnesses, whose testimony is believed to have been crucial, was
a thief.
An appeal and escape is still possible in our rotten legal system.
More over Church administration never wanted this episode to
come to open.
